CONNECT GROUPS

Small Groups
The Small Group Ministry of TCC

We believe we were created for connection – with God and other people.
Small Groups are a place for you to meet new friends,
grow in your existing relationships, and encounter Jesus together.
We were designed to live in a community and we are better off for it.
At TCC we believe in being a church that worships together and one that also knows how to break bread together as well.

“So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart”
Acts 2:46 NKJV

WHY SMALL GROUPS?
SMALL GROUPS have one, simple purpose—to bring people together.
We believe God created us to live in community with others
and only then can we experience the full life He intends for us.

We believe life change happens in the context of relationships.
Meaningful relationships can be hard to find, and SMALL GROUPS exist to make
life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you and your friends.
With semesters lasting 8-12 weeks, and with a variety of meeting schedules,
there is sure to be one that fits your personal interests and schedule.

WHAT ARE SMALL GROUPS?
At TCC, we use a free-market approach to SMALL GROUPS.

This means we want people to gather together based on
the things they enjoy and are important to them.
Essentially, the things you are already doing in your life
are the things that can make up your Small Groups!

Free market leaders form their group around their gifts or interests.

From sports groups to lunch groups, mom groups to student groups,
Bible study groups to creative arts groups, our groups are as varied as we are.
Each Small Groups semester will last 8-12 weeks.
This allows you to have the opportunity to be a part of a variety of groups over time,
making many new friends and connections.
See a group a friend would enjoy? Invite them to come with you!

GROUP CATEGORIES
KNOW GROUPS
KNOW Small Groups are primarily designed for personal and spiritual enrichment
by learning or refining a skill, sport, knowledge, enjoying meals together, etc.
In short, these groups are built around a specific topic or common interest.
What do you love to do? Fish, Cook, Workout, Knit, Woodworking, Photography, Music….
The list of possibilities for a KNOW Small Groups is endless!

GROW GROUPS
GROW Life Groups are primarily designed for personal and spiritual enrichment
by studying a specific topic, curriculum, or book.
These groups will focus on spiritual and personal growth through prayer, Bible study,
financial education, support groups, etc.

SERVE GROUPS
SERVE Life Groups are primarily designed for personal and spiritual enrichment
through volunteering and service to others.
Volunteer and service activities will be aligned with the title and description of the group
and will be coordinated by the group leaders.
Maybe you have a desire to serve the elderly, homeless, single parents,
community servants (police, fire department, first responders, etc), whatever service projects
God has laid on your heart are a fantastic start for a SERVE Connect Group!
